Women's Class
The Women's Class at Freefall MMA provides women and teen girls a safe space for exploring self-defense, sport, and even MMA applications of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Scaled for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike, in this class you'll get a thorough workout and leave feeling tapped into your power. Queer and trans women are warmly welcomed.

Main instructor is Caren Camblin, a BJJ 2nd degree Black Belt with over 20 years on the mat. She is also a philosophy teacher at UCSC and a Registered Yoga Teacher. She's done training in trauma-informed instruction and is passionate about meeting students where they are. Secondary instructor (when Caren needs coverage) is Mike Roberts, who is a Certified Muay Thai instructor in addition to holding a BJJ 2nd degree Black Belt and being an all-around terrific coach.

We're offering The Women's Class for free in September, in the spirit of community engagement and service. Usually the class is $49/mo or free with a monthly membership.
